Helping Your Pet Prepare for a Cardiology Appointment
A few simple preparations can make the visit calmer and give the care team better information.
Bring your pet’s current medication list, recent laboratory results, and any videos that show coughing, breathing changes, weakness, or fainting at home. Notes about when symptoms occur are helpful too.
Keep the day predictable and allow extra travel time. If your pet becomes anxious in the car or clinic, tell the team ahead of time so the visit can be paced around their comfort.
